North Carolina Centinel And Fayetteville Gazette - August 29, 1795 August 29, 1795
A certain John Pyburn, horse thief, was committed to gaol in Fayetteville on the
20th inst. who was taken on the south side of great Pedee, near Mares Bluff -
and has in possession, a large bay Mare, about six years old, branded on the
near shoulder G. The owner may have her, by proving the property, and paying
charges to
