July 5, 1826 North Carolina Journal July 5, 1826 NOTICE The Subscriber will offer for sale to the highest bidder, on Tuesday, the 15th of August next, the plantation whereon he now lives, being on the direct road from Fayetteville, N. C. to Camden, S. C., 25 miles from the former place and six miles from Gilchrist's bridge, containing 690 acres of as good land as any in the State, with a quantity of open land, about 20 acres of which is newly opened, all in a high state of cultivation with a good dwelling house and kitchen and all necessary out house; a grist mill, cotton gin, and screw, all in operation. Any person wishing to purchase would do well to call and examine for himself before the day of the sale. At the same time and place, will be offered for sale, his entire stock of every description,viz.: Horses, Cattles, Hogs, and Sheep, an excellent Yoke of Oxen, together with a variety of articles not enumerated above.
