  -- The Cumberland Agricultural Society had their annual meeting at the Court 
House last evening. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year, 
to wit:
  JOHN A. CAMERON, President; ALEXANDER ELLIOTT, Vice President; JOHN C. 
WILLIAMS, Vice President; JOSEPH HOUGH, Secretary; JOHN ARMSTRONG, Treasurer; 
LAUGHLIN BETHUNE; ARCHIBALD McKAY; JOHN KING; DANIEL McLEAN; JONATHAN EVANS; 
N. B. FOLSOM; JOHN ECCLES, Standards.
