Wed. June 6,  1827   North Carolina Journal
   DIED, in Fayetteville, on Sunday morning last, after a short, but painful, 
illness, which he bore with almost unrivalled fortitude, MR. THOMAS ASKING, in 
the 30th year of hiis age, leaving behind a young and affectionate wie, with a 
numerous circle of acquaintances.
