CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Louis G. Cogdell, 14 Jan 1970

Fayetteville - Louis Garland Cogdell, 64, retired owner of the 
Cogdell Real Estate Co., died Tuesday. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday,
Jernigan-Warren Funeral Chapel, the Revs. Walter E. Smith, and
Woodrow Wells. Burial, Lafayette Memorial Park.

Surviving: his wife, Mrs. Margaret Pipkin Cogdell; three sons,
James W. Cogdell of Charlotte, James Luther of Fayetteville and
O.D. Harrell of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a stepson, E. Louis McCormick
of Angier; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Thompson of Havelock;
two sisters, Ella C. Cogdell of Fayetteville and Mrs. Mary C.
Southerland of Clinton; six grandchildren. 1970
