July 5, 1826   North Carolina Journal
   DIED, on Monday evening last, at the seat of his mother, in Cumberland 
County, MR. GEORGE ELLIOTT, in the 23rd year of his age. MR. ELLIOTT was 
educated at our University, and from his amiable manners and correct 
deportment, promised to make an useful and highly respectable member of 
society.
