 MURDER OF THOMAS MASON
 -- On Sunday afternoon last, a man named THOMAS MASON was killed in Lower 
Fayetteville, by a blow from a cane by JOHN BRADSHAW. We understand that Mason 
was drunk and disorderly, and resisted BRADSHAW, who was one of the town 
patrol, and was endeavoring to arrest him. The facts showed manifestly, that 
it was an unintentioned killing. BRADSHAW was admitted to bail of $500. --
