   DIED, on Wednesday morning, the 2nd inst., COL. JOHN McLAUREN, for the last 
20 years Clerk of the Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions of Cumberland County. 
The most efficient public servant; the affectionate relative; the indulgent 
master; the true friiend; the upright man; he has passed from the eart to live 
in the affectionate recollection of all who knew him.
