Fayetteville Weekly Observer Thurs. December 30, 1852
DIED
In this county, on the 21st instant, Mr. HUGH McPHAIL,
aged 25, -- a native of the Island of Jute, Scotland; 
leaving a wife and one child. The deceased was a young
man of energy, and promise, much beloved in all relations
of life and a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church.
