Wed., Sept. 9, 1829  North Carolina Journal
   DIED, at his residence, on Rockfish, Cumberland County, on the 28th ult., 
after an illness of 14 hours, JOHN McPHERSON, aged 70 years. He has left a 
widow and six small children, with a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
