M. Rood Succumbs Here" Mrs. C. M. Rood of Albany died this morning after a long illness. A native of Fayetteville, N. C., Mrs. Rood had resided here since 1910. Her husband who died several years ago, was a prominent pecan grower. Mrs. Rood was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had resided at Fairhaven nursing home until it's closing a few months ago and at the time of her death was residing in a private home here. Graveside services will be announced by Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Directors. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. E. D. Adams, Atlanta, and Mrs. C. A. Law, Columbus; a niece, Mrs. Walter Sewell, Durham, N. C. and a nephew, Emmett Adams, Jr.
