Wed., Oct. 21, 1829  North Carolina Journal
   DIED, on Saturday evening, the 17th, after an illness of five days, DAVID 
D. SALMON, JR., aged 19 years, only son of DAVID D. SALMON, SR., ESQ. His 
remains were interred Sunday with Military Honors by the Fayetteville 
Independent Company of Infantry.
