Wed. Aug. 15,  1827  North Carolina Journal
   DIED, in Fayetteville, this morning, MR. CYRUS TILLINGHAST, merchant, aged 
42, of the firm of C. S. TILLINGHAST. The deceased had suffered under bad 
health -- which he bore with fortitude and patience. MR. TILLINGHAST was much 
esteemed by those who best knew him for integrity and the ardor and steadiness 
of his attachment, and will be long mourned.
