WILLIAMS, consort of John C. Williams, aged 58. The sickness of Mrs. Williams has been protracted and painful. Her complaint, a chronic inflammation of the bowels, slow in its operation, gradually wasted her system, till, at length, death terminated the scene. Her loss will be severely felt by her afflicted husband, by an interesting circle of children, whom she was permitted to live to educate, and by a neighborhood where she was well known and esteemed. She was a worthy member of the Presbyterian Church, and was deeply interested in the subject of Religion. Though, during much of her sickness, her mind was beclouded, yet previous to death, her views become bright, and she gave good evidence that she died in good hope in her Saviour, and of happy resurrection to eternal life. Her example and her counsels will long be remembered by her children and friends. - [Com.
