State of North Carolina - Cumberland County

Know all men by these presents that we Sarah Carraway, Bedreden
Carraway and John Dickson are held and firmly bound unto the
Chairman and other Justices of the County Court of Cumberland,
in the sum of one hundred pounds current money to be paid to
the said Chairman or his successors and other Justices of the
County of Cumberland. To the which payment well and truly to be
made we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators,
jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our 
seals and dated this 7th day of April, 1821.

The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above
bounden Sarah Caraway administratrix of all and singular, the
goods and chattels, right and credits of the deceased which shall
come to the hands, knowledge or possession of the said Sarah
Carraway or into the hands or possession of any person or persons,
for her and the same so made, do exhibit or case to be exhibted
one attested copy thereof to the county court, where orders for
administration passed within ninety days after the date of these
presents and the same goods, chattels and credits and all other
good chattels and credits of the deceased at the time of his death
or which will come into the hands or possession of the said Sarah
Carraway.

Agreeable to an order of the Court of Probate held for Cumberland
County to us directed to lay off one years support for Sarah
Carraway widow of Bedreden Carraway Dec'd from the 27th day of
April 1821 we allow her five hundred pounds of bacon, three
hundred pounds beef, fifty bushels of corn, five hundred pounds
blade fodder, two bushels of salt, five pounds of coffee, twenty
pounds of sugar, five gallons molasses, one barrel of flour, one
pound pepper, one pound of spice given under our hands and seals.
