The plantation I now live on containing 340 acres including the land where the Fish Trap now is, livestock, tools, household furniture. To son Thomas three pieces of land, one on Black River joining Aaron Moor, 300 acres. Another joining the widow McAllisters and Alexander Avera, 200 acres. One piece on the Reedy Branch joining Daniel Blues land, 50 acres. Also Negroes named Peter and Isabelle. After the decease of my wife all the manor plantation whereon I now live together. Fifty gallons of brandy. All my dues, demands by notes, bonds or otherwise to be collected. One bay mare named Desmond to be sold to best advantage and amount arising to be applied to the discharging of my lawful debts and demands, thereof to be equally divided amonst all my children. To son William one piece of land on Black River joining John Rea and Virginia Avera, 150 acres. Slaves Lucy and her two children Charity and Rhody. One Negro fellow or his value due by David Cogdell. To grandson John son of William, one piece of land on Stewarts Creek joining Joseph Adams, 200 acres. To son John Negro named Frank, 150 pounds lawful money in the lieu of Negro wench named Pheba to paid by my son Thomas out of his own property. Livestock. To my son James one piece of land containing 300 acres on east side Stony Run. Also two pieces of land containing 200 acres on east side Stony Run. Two pieces on the west side containing 200 acres. Another piece on each side of Black River joining Alexander Avera and Isaac Reas. Another piece beginning on the Horse pen Branch, 200 acres. Negroes Sam, Saturn and Isaac. One feather bed, stock of cattle, hogs now in possession of Luke Broom on Stony Run plantation. Livestock now in possession of John Moor on Black River. To son Charles one piece of land on Black River, 320 acres joining Daniel Blue formerly property of Alexander Gregory. One piece on east side of Cape Fear containing 100 acres formerly property of Jessy Moor. Negroes Simon and Sylva. Lot of coopers tools, livestock, household items. Wife and son Thomas named executors.
