Devised April 4, 1792, Proven April Term, 1793. In the Name of God Amen I Mathew Mckeney Being Sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God for the Same and knowing man To Die Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to Say principly and first of all that is Say I gave3 and Recommend my Soul in to the hand of God that gave it and my Body I Recommend to the Earth to Be buried at the Discretion of my Executors Nothing thinking But I Shall Receive the Same again by the Mighty power of God and touching such worldly Estate as the Lord hath been please to bless me In this Life I gave and Despose of the Same in the following manney [manner] and form. Imprimus I gave unto my well beloved wife Sarah Mckenney three negros two men and negro women named ned Daniel & Cherry one bed and furniture one horse. I give unto my wife [Thes Lent(?)] unto my wife the use of all my houshold furniture and all my Stock During her Lifetime or widowhood afterword to Return a Equil Division to my Children and to my wel beloved Son Howel Mckeney I gave when he Comes of age one negro named Dread. I gave unto my son John McKeney when of age on negro named Lewis. Item I gave unto my Son Matthew Mckeney one negro named Beck. Item I gave to my Son Kintian Mckeney one negro [Juday?]. I gave unto my Daughter nancy one negro named Amey. Item I gave to my Daught[er] Sarah one named named Rachel. Item I give to my Daughter patsey one negro now in the womb of a negro named Cherry if this Child should Die patsey should have the first negro Born of these Legasies. My will and Desire is that my Lands and tenaments after my wifes widowhood be Equally Divided between my Sons. I give to my three Daughters above mentioned one bed and furniture and one horse a peace to Each one their Bed and horse and after my wifes Decease or widowhood the Remander part of my Estate to be Equally Divided between my Sons and Daughters and Do hereby appoint my wife my Son Howel [&] Federick holt Esqur. my Sole Executors and Do Disallow all wills and bequeaths before made Ralifiing and Confirming this and no other to be my Last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this fourth Day of April one thousand Seven Hundered and ninty two.
