Laid down by a Scale of 20 Chains to an Inch

State of North Carolina.   This platt Represents One hundred Acres of Cypress 
Swamp Land in Currituck County Mayock District/ Begininning at a Maple & gum 
in Mays line thence along Mays line S45W, 15 chains to a Maple then N45W, 46 
chains to a black Gum then N45E, 28 Chains to a poplar juniper &  Maple in 
Hayman S. Cherrys Back line then along their partnered  line S27-1/2E, 48-1/2 
chains to the first Station, Surveyed for Jesse Ives & Josiah Cherry.  By 
Virtue of a Warrant and Coppy of Entry No. 187.  November 7th 1803.
