This indenture made this 18th day of January on Thousand Eight Hundred
and Twenty between Elijah Aydlott of the State of North Carolina and County
of Currituck of the one part and Benjamin Parker of the the State and County
also of the other part witnesseth that Elijah Aydlott for and in consideration
of the Sum of forty dollars to him in Hand paid by Benjamin Parker the
receipt whereof the said Elijah Aydlott doth hereby fully acknowledge hath
bargained and sold and by these presents the said Elijah Aydlott dothe
hereby bargain and sell unto the Said Benjamin Parker and his heirs and
assigns a piece or parsel of land situated in the State and County also
being all my wife Lydia Aydlott's part or portion of her deceased Father
James Tolar's land to contain fourteen Acres of land more of lefs when
Ever ascertained to have and to hold the said bargined and sold land and
premises unto the said Benjamin Parker and his heirs & assigns forever
unto the only use benefit and behoof of him the said Benjamin Parker and
his heirs free and clare with all the the estate right and Title of me
the said Elijah Aydlott and further I the said Elijah Aydlott dothe covenant
and agree to and with the said Benjamin Parker to warrant and defend the
Sale of said land and premises unto the Said Elijah Aydlott and from any
person or persons claiming from or under me the Said Elijah Aydlott In
Witness whereof I the said Elijah Aydlott hath hereunto set my hand and
deal the day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered in

State of North Carolina Currituck's August term 1820
This Deed of Sale from Elijah Aydlott to Benjamin Parker was proven by
the oath ot Daniel Lindsey here in open court in due form of law and Ordered
registered
