Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1812   Edenton Gazette July 28, 1812
   -- Deserted from the Barracks at Edenton on the 28th of July, THOMAS 
ALLEN,  born in Currituck County, N. C., aged 31 years, five feet seven inches 
high, dark complexion, black eyes and black hair, by profession a wheelwright. 
Any persons securing said deserter and delivering him to me in Edenton, or any 
Officer commanding a post or detachment in the United States, shall receive a 
$10 reward.
