The Edenton Gazette, Jan. 8, 1821
   DIED, on the 20th ult., at his residence in Currituck County, JOSEPH 
FEREBEE, ESQ., in the 67th year of hkis age. His conduct through life has been 
that of an honest man and a firm Whig of the Old School; and is the last of 
the Revolutionary officers of that County. He was nearly 20 years a member of 
the State Legislature, and more than 40 years a magistrate of that county.
