Taylor, Reuben - 1811 - Currituck County, NC - Wills Submitted for use in the USGenWeb Project Archives by John Laird A will for Reuben Taylor was dated June 27, 1810 and filed circa 1811, from Willbook 3, p. 1, follows in its entirety: "State of North Carolina, Currituck County. This being my last will and testament and now being in my health and perfect sense and now (?) I give unto my son Maxey Taylor, after my death property as follows, two beds and all the furniture thereunder belonging to him, one hand mill and materials thereunto belonging; I give my horse cart, one cow and ? and all the hogs that I have at my decease and my chest and cherry oak (?) table one pot sack, two iron pots, one pair (?) dogs. I give my axes and plows such as I have at my decease and one loom and all the weaving. All these things I give to my son Maxey Taylor and to his heirs forever. This the 27th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten. This is my last will and signment includes my hand and seal. Test. D. Dunton.
