Taylor, Frances - 1832 - Currituck County, NC - Wills Submitted for use in the USGenWeb Project Archives by John Laird A will for Frances Taylor, dated November 1829 and filed circa 1832, is shown in willbook 3, p. 325. The will in its entirety, follows: "The Last (?) testament of Frances Taylor, deceased was exhibited in open court and proven by the oath of C. Taylor a witness thereto and ordered recorded. In the name of God amen I Frances Taylor, being very sick and weak of body by strength but sound of memory I since and calling to mind that it is appointed for all to die I do make my last will and testament principally and first of all I recommend my soul to god who gave it and my body to the dust to be buried in a Christianlike manner and as to my worldly good, which is has been please god to bless me with in the words I give and dispose of in the manner and form following -- I give my son Charles Taylor and to my grandaughter Edney Poyner daughter of Fanny Poyner all my property within and without doors to be proven(?) and equally divided between them and I do for them by these presents disallow (???) all other wills or will by me made and acknowledge this my last will and testament and I do constitute ordain and appoint my son Charles Taylor my whole and sole executor in wtiness hereof I have set my hand and seal November 1829.
