L.M. Baum, 61, Of Norfolk Buried Thursday, Nov. 17

  Leroy Milton Baum, 61, husband of Mrs. Lillie Mae Turner Baum and son of the 
late Jesse E. and Mrs. Penelope Tillett Baum, died at a Norfolk hospital 
Tuesday, November 15, 1960.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Dr. Leroy M. Baum Jr., of 
Smithfield, Va.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. H.L. Hefner, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Lenora Liverman of Norfolk and Mrs. Robert Darden of Miami, Florida; two 
brothers, J.E. Baum of Kitty Hawk, N.C., and A.C. Baum of Upper Darby, Pa., and 
four grandchildren.

  He was a native of Kitty Hawk and had been a resident of Norfolk for 45 years, 
residing at 1539 Cedar Lane.

  He was a member of George Wright Lodge No. 346, AF & AM, and was secretary and 
treasurer of C.C. Waddill Company, with whom he had been associated for 40 
years.

  Funeral services were conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday, 
November 17, at 4 P.M.  Burial was in Riverside Memorial Park.
