Obituary: Susan T. MIDGETT, 1954, Dare County, NC

Surnames: MIDGETT, SAUNDERS, O'NEAL

Manteo - Funeral services for Mrs. Susan T. MIDGETT,
85, who died here Saturday at the home of the
daughter, Mrs. E. V. SAUNDERS, will be conducted
Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Twiford Funeral
Home Chapel by the Rev. H. R. ASHMORE, pastor of the
Manteo Methodist Church, and the Rev. C. W. GUTHRIE. 
Burial will be in the Manteo Cemetery.  Mrs. MIDGETT
was a native of Rodanthe, the daughter of Watson L.
and Mary O'NEAL MIDGETT, the widow of Abe MIDGETT and
a member of the Methodist Church at Rodanthe.  She had
lived in Manteo for 38 years.  Surviving in addition
to Mrs. SAUNDERS are one son, Ellsworth MIDGETT, both
of Manteo; 19 grandchildren, and 24
great-grandchildren.
