 DAVIDSON COUNTY
August  Term 1831

LEMUEL BECKERDITE

        Vs.

ISAAC BRIANT (BRYANT?)

Justice’s Judgment levied on 25 and a fourth acres of land, the property of 
the defendant. – Joins the lands of LONGFIELD, LOFTIN and others, levied on 
the 25th of May.

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, ISAAC BRIANT 
(BRYANT?) has removed himself out of this county, and that notice of this levy 
has not been served on him:. It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in 
Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at our next Court of 
Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson in the Court 
House at Lexington on the second  Monday in November  next then and there to 
shew cause, if any he have, why the Plaintiff, in this case, shall not have an 
order of sale on said land for his debt and costs, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso,  heard ex parte and partition of said land decreed..
