CATHARINE DAY

        Vs.

MARY E. DAVIS, MICHAEL MCRARY and his wife, POLLY MCRARY; MATHIAS GRIMES and 
EVE GRIMES, his wife; PEGGY SOWERS, late DAY;  PETER HARTMAN and his wife, 
CATHARINE HARTMAN; JOSEPH NICHOLSON and his wife, SUSANNA NICHOLSON; VALENTINE 
DAY and MICHAEL DAY, the latter two in the capacity as devisees and legatees 
as Executors of MICHAEL DAY, deceased. 

Bill for Construction of a Will and other matters


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, MICHAEL 
MCRARY and his wife, POLLY MCRARY; MATHIAS GRIMES and EVE GRIMES, his wife; 
PEGGY SOWERS, late DAY;  PETER HARTMAN and his wife, CATHARINE HARTMAN; JOSEPH 
NICHOLSON and his wife, SUSANNA NICHOLSON; VALENTINE DAY and MICHAEL DAY  
reside beyond the limits of  this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, printed in 
Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at our next Court of 
Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson in the Court 
House at Lexington on the 1st   Monday after the 4th Monday  in March  next, 
then and there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, judgment will be 
taken pro confesso, and   heard ex parte .

Witness, W. WOMMACK, Clerk & Master of said Court at office on the 22nd 
November A. D., 1844.
