 DAVIDSON COUNTY
Feb. Term 1845

PETTIS FINCH and wife and others 

        Vs.

ELIZABETH POPE, Administrator of  HAWOOD POPE, and WILLIAM  CARREL and MARY 
CARREL, his wife



Petition for Account

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, WILLIAM 
CARREL and MARY CARREL, his wife,  reside beyond the limits of  this State. It 
is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants 
be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the 
County of Davidson in the Court House at Lexington on the second  Monday in 
May  next then and there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, judgment 
will be taken pro confesso,  heard ex parte and partition of said land 
decreed..
