STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY       DAVIDSON COUNTY
Feb. Term 1848

WOLF & CLARK, and RALPH GORRELL

        Vs.

THOMAS W. JAMES, RANDALL BRUMMELL, HIRAM W. BRUMMELL, LUCY BRUMMELL and 
HENDERSON ADAMS, Administrator of CHARLES BRUMMELL

(Kind of suit not given)


   It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court  that the defendant, RANDALL 
BRUMMELL, is not a resident of this State: it is therefore ordered by the 
court that publication be made  made for six weeks  in The Patriot, a 
newspaper printed in Greensborough,   for the said defendant to be and appear 
at our next Court to be held for the County of Davidson in the Court House at 
Lexington on the 1st Monday after the 4th Monday in March, then and there to 
plead, answer, or demur to this issue, or judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and heard ex parte as to him.
  Witness, PETER K. ROUNSAVILLE, Clerk & Master of said Court at office in 
Lexington on  the 19th of February, 1848.
