Sept.  Term 1845

JAMES HADEN et al

        Vs.

EVAN DAVIS and JOHN CALLAWAY 

Petition for Settlement 


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JOHN 
CALLAWAY,   resides beyond the limits of  this State. It is therefore ordered 
by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at our 
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson 
in the Court House at Lexington on the 1st   Monday after the 4th Monday  in 
March  next, then and there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso, and   heard ex parte .

Witness, PETER K. ROUNSAVILLE, Clerk & Master of said Court at office on the 
1st Monday after the 4th Monday in September A. D., 1845.
