GRISHAM HUNT ET AL

        Vs.

JOSEPH CLARK ET AL

Petition for Sale of Land

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, JOHN HUNT, 
and his wife, CHARITY; WILLIAM LYNN and his wife, HANNAH, WILLIAM BEARD and 
his wife , JANE, are not residents of this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at our 
next Court of Equity to be held for the County of Davidson in the Court House 
at Lexington on the fourth Monday in September next then and there to plead 
answer or demur to this issue, judgment will be taken pro confesso and a 
decree of sale made absolute
