LIVINGGOOD; and MICHAEL EVERHART and his wife, SUSAN EVERHART

CHRISTIAN LIVINGOOD, JOHN LIVINGOOD, GEORGE LIVINGOOD, HENRY SHOAF and his 
wife, ELIZABETH SHOAF; and HENRY BRINLY and his wife, MAGDALINA BRINLY

Petition to Settle the estate of CHRISTIAN LIVINGOOD, SR., deceased


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, , HENRY 
SHOAF and his wife, ELIZABETH SHOAF; and HENRY BRINLY and his wife, MAGDALINA 
BRINLY reside  beyond the limits of  this State: it is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at the  
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson 
in the Court House at Lexington , on the 2nd Monday in August next, then and 
there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso, and   heard ex parte .

Witness, C. F. LOWE, Clerk said Court at office on the 2nd  Monday in May , 
1848.
