        Vs.

JOSEPH SILLS 

Justice’s Judgment bond on Land: Two Acres 

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JOSEPH 
SILLS,  resideS beyond the limits of  this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants be and appear at our 
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson 
in the Court House at Lexington on the second  Monday in November   next then 
and there to show cause, or judgment  and order of sale will be granted on the 
lands levied on in satisfaction of Plaintiff’s demand.
