JOHN FISHER, ASA FISHER, JAMES FISHER, WILLIAM PATTERSON and ELIZABETH 
PATTERSON, his wife, SARAH FISHER, SAMUEL FISHER, DAVID FISHER, ELIZA FISHER, 
MARY ANN FISHER, JONATHAN FISHER, ELWOOD FISHER, SUSAN FISHER and LOUISE 
FISHER 

Petition to Sell Land


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that one of the defendants, JOHN 
FISHER resides  beyond the limits of  this State: it is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendant be and appear at the  
next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Davidson 
in the Court House at Lexington , on the 2nd Monday in November next, then and 
there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso, and   heard ex parte as to him and an order of sale granted.

Witness, C. F. LOWE, Clerk said Court at office on the 2nd  Monday in August , 
1848.
