GOBBLE and his wife, ELIZABETH COBBLE, PRISCILLA TOW, REBECCA WALSER and JOHN 
A. DAVIS, Guardian of the Heirs at Law of JASPER WALSER, deceased

Petition to Sell Land


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, PHILIP 
SNIDER and his wife, SALLY SNIDER reside  beyond the limits of  this State: it 
is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro, that unless the said defendants 
be and appear at the  next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for 
the County of Davidson in the Court House at Lexington , on the 2nd Monday in 
Augustr next, then and there to plead, answer or object  to this issue, 
judgment will be taken pro confesso, and   heard ex parte as to them and an 
order of sale granted.

Witness, C. F. LOWE, Clerk said Court at office on the 2nd  Monday in May , 
1849.
