ROBERT ELLIS and others Amended Bill of Complaint It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, DR. JOHN PARSONS and MARY ANN PARSONS, his wife , are not inhabitants of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six weeks in The Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensborough, for the said defendant to be and appear at our next Court to be held for the County of Davidson in the Court House at Lexington on the 1st Monday after the 4th Monday in September 1847, then and there to plead answer or demur to this issue, or judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him.
