   MURDER IN DAVIDSON -- It is reported here that JAMES GLOVER JR. has been 
committed to jail, on the charge of killing his wife, last Friday morning. 
They were seen at the dwelling a few minutes before, in apparent friendship. 
He shot her in the head, it is said, and then raised the cry of murder. The 
woman was dead when the neighbors reached the house. -- Salsbury Watchmen, 
29th ult.
