George Bryant was very much under the influence of liquor when last seen at Swing's mill, last night; and this morning a little girl on her way to school discovered his body lying in the road a few hundred yards beyond the academy from the mill. He had fallen face downward in the mud, with both hands under him and died, it is presumed from the effects of fire, which had consumed all his clothing except his overalls, which were slipped down about his feet. Investigation showed that the flesh was burned and charred all over his body, and the skin crisped and soughed.
