ANNA LEE ALEXANDER HINSHAW 

THOMASVILLE - Anna Lee Alexander Hinshaw, 91, formerly of Pilot School Road, 
died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006. A native of Davidson County, she was the 
daughter of the late William and Julia Sink Alexander, and wife of the late 
Alfred K. Hinshaw. She was also preceded in death brothers, Clayton, Lawrence, 
Cromer and Lytal Alexander; and sisters, Stella Alexander, Amy Klass, Nona 
Sledge and Ida Mae Long.

Survivors include a daughter, Julia H. Frison of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; two 
sons, Rodger Hinshaw of Spruce Pine, and Kirt Hinshaw of Archdale; one sister, 
Geneva Alexander Darr of Thomasville; six grandchildren; four great 
grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Calvary United Church of 
Christ. The Revs. Kelly Barefoot, June Grubb, and Harold Hostle officiated. 
Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 
p.m. Saturday at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Memorials 
donations may be made to Calvary United Church of Christ, 1410 Lexington 
Avenue, Thomasville, NC 27360.
