Berier/Berrier/Bergier, Phillip - 1853 - Davidson County, NC - Wills Submitted to the USGenWeb by Stephanie Harrison info@conquestmusic.com State of North Carolina Davidson County September 30th 1853 I Phillip Berier of said County being weak in body but of a sound mind and memory do hereby publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and words following to wit: First I give will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sibela all my lands including my homestead place during her natural life and at her death to my beloved son Lewis Bergier and his heirs forever. Secondly, I give will and bequeath to my beloved wife Sibela one negro woman named Kissiah and child named Simas and their increase and all my household and kitchen furniture of every description to be her absolute property . Thirdly, I desire that all my just debts be paid and all the balance of my property not mentioned above shalle be sold at public sale by my executor and the proceeds of all said sale together with the debts due me all of which shall be collected by my executor and after payment of all my just debts the remainder of said proceeds to be equally divided between my beloved wife Sibela and my three sons, Charles, George and Lewis Berrier share and share alike. Lastly, for the purpose of having this my last will and testament carried into effect I do hereby appoint my beloved son Charles Berrier my sole executor of this my last will and testament.
