Transcription of their stones: Ijames Beal Feb. 8, 1767 July 6, 1855 Aged 88 yrs. 4 mos. 28 dys, Ijames Elizabeth 1770 June 25, 1848 wife of Beal Ijames Aged 78 yrs. According to some other records, there are nine other people buried here, but I have yet to find any marked stones, only field stones. I have the names and some dates of these people, but have not yet verified them. Died Feb 10, 1840 These are Beal Ijames, Sr. born in Ann Arundel Co. Maryland, the son of John Ijames and Ariana Worthington; and Elizabeth Little, born in Rowan County, daughter (I believe) of John Little and Belleny Erwin. The infant is, I believe, the grandson of Beal, Sr. and Elizabeth Little - the son of Beal Ijames, Jr. (May 1, 1809 - Sept. 26, 1888) and Rachel Clarey Locke (May 3, 1814 - Feb 2, 1871) Beal Jr and Rachel are buried at Center United Methodist Church.
