Mocksville, July 5 - A threshing machine boiler exploded at Advance this morning while in operation near the railway station. Archibald Potts was instantly killed and his son, George, is thought to be fatally injured. Physicians here were sent for, to amputate one of his legs. Other members of the gang barely escaped with their lives from the flying debris. The dead man was about 50 years old and his injured son about 20.
