State of North Carolina Davie County..........September 12, 1837.

In the Name of God Amen, I will that my body be decently buried, and my
soul to the great Redeemer. I will and bequeath all my real and personal
estate to my wife Nelly Booe to dispose of to our children as they become
of age or as she may think proper and most suitable: unless my wife Nelly
should get married, then to share equally with our children, share and
share abroad. I appoint Jacob Sheek and Thomas Veatch executors of this
my last will: First to see that my just debts be paid, and to sell the
Negro boy Anderson if it be necessary, or if he be ungovernable or disobedient
