North Carolina 
New Bern District
George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King 
Defender of the Faith &c To the Sheriff of the County of Dobbs Greeting; We 
Command you that you take the Body of Barnaby Fuller late of Dobbs County 
Planter.

(if to be found in your Bailiwick) and him Safely keep so that you have him 
before our Chief Justice and his associates at the next Superior Court of 
Justice to be held for the District of New Bern at the Court House in New 
Bern on the Eleventh Day  of November next then & there to Answer to a Bill 
of Indictment found against him by our Grand Inquest &c
Herein fail not and have you there this Writ.  Witness Martin Howard Esqr 
Chief Justice of our said Province at New Bern the 21st day of May in the 
VIII year of our Reign anno Dom. 1768.
