Box: S.S.727.4 To His Excellency William Tryon Esq'r Govenor of North Carolina And to the Members of His Majestys Honourable Council Now Siting The Petition of Joseph Slocomb and Jane Rielly Humbly Sheweth That David Rielly late of Wilmington Deceased had in his life Time Entered three Certain Tracts of Land in Dobbs County which have been Regularly Surveyed in his life time but before he obtained patents for said Lands he died and leaveing no other Heirs, left all he possessed to be Eaqually divided between his two Sisters Mary Rielly and Jane Rielly and now the said Mary Rielly is Married to your Petitioner Joseph Slocomb, who Humbly thinks he and the said Jane Rielly as Co.
