Dobbs County, NC - Survey for James Bright, 1790 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ State of North Carolina By Warrant No. 2 dated the 1st day of April 1790 I have Surveyed for James Bright a Tract of land containing Twenty two Acres lying and being in our County of Dobbs on the South side of Wheat Swamp Begining at a white oak the second corner of 182 acres patined by Simon Bright Senr. also said to be a corner of land patind by Wm. Hen= =dersons and runs from thence North twenty five West Twenty six poles to Bechtons corner then his lines reversed South forty East Ninety six poles then South sixty four East Eighty Eight poles then South Twenty five East one hundred and six poles to a white oack his own and Bechtons corner then along his own line to the begining.
