Dobbs County, NC - Jeremiah Brown Deed, 1767 ~~~~~~~~~~ North Carolina April 1st 1767 Surveyed for Jeremiah Brown a plantation containing 200 acres of land in the County of Dobbs, on the west side of Gum Branch opposite Paul Heartsfields Beginning at a Black Jack between Gum Branch and the White Marsh, William Aylers corner and runs along his line N 35 W 180 ples crossing White Marsh to a black jack, said Aylers corner Then N 35 E 180 poles to the center of two pines and a black jack, Then S 55 E 140 poles (supposed to be along Benjamin Creehes line) to a pine in or near Paul Heartsfields line Then to the beginning.
