From the Cupola House Papers - M-1493/1, Southern Historical Collection, UNC-Chapel Hill This is a microfilm of the originals which are owned by the Cupola House Association in the custody of the Shepherd-Pruden Memorial Library in Edenton, NC. The Cupola House Association has no restrictions on this collection except those covered under copyright laws. The abstract: This indenture made 6 March 1777 between James Harvey of Craven County and Joseph Blount of Edenton for 350 pounds for land on the Neuse River. The original patent was made in Craven County, but it is now divided into Dobbs County 995 acres on the small Ready Branch.
