State of North Carolina No. 200. To all to whome these Presents
shall come greeting Know ye that we for and in Consideration of
the sum of Fifty Shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted
paid into our treasury by Joseph Pipkin have given and granted
and by these presents do give & grant unto the said Joseph Pipkin
a tract of Land Containing two hundred acres lying and being in
our County of Dobbs on the North side of falling Creek Beginning
at a Gum John Bizzells Corner and runs no. 47 poles to a pine in
Robert Eaches line then with his no. 55 wt. 158 pole to a white
Oak his corner then his line No. 35 Et. 130 pole to a pine Joseph
Sessiom Corner then with his No. 45 Wt. 270 poles to a red Oak
his Corner then with John Bryants line So. 77 Wt. 32 poles to a 
hickory his corner then north R'd Cogdells line So. 38 Et. 147 to
a pine his Corner then with his other line So. 10 Et. 182 poles 
to a pine in Lewis Pipkins line then to the Beginning as by the
Plot hereunto annexed doth appear together with all ways woods
waters mines minerals heridaments and appurtances to the said 
land belonging or appertaining to hold to the said Joseph Pipkin
his heirs and assigns forever yielding and paying to us such sums 
of Money yearly or otherwise as our general assembly from time to
time may direct provided always that the said Joseph Pipkin Shall
cause this grant to be registered in the registrars office of our
said County of Dobbs within twelve months from the date hereof
otherwise the same shall be Void and of no effect in Testimary
whereof we have caused our great Seal to be hereunto affixed 
Witness Richard Caswell esq. our Gov'r Cap't Genr'l & Commander
in Chief at Kingston the 28 day of October in the fourth year of
our Indepencence and in the year of our Lord ano 1779
