Kingston Nov. 17th. 1780  The whole amount of the assessment agreeable 
to the Clerks List, is £1389978.12.1. but in this List, I have omitted 
the Shillings & pence, the amount consequently is something less.

John Edmundson was assessed to £4460 and was returned in two Districts 
viz. Capt. Joshua Davis’s & Capt. Henry Taylors – this Sum be deducted 
from the total amount, because he only paid in one District.
